Every time I try lvl 3 and 4 resact, it says my weapon level is not high enough. I tried with green dragon battle falchion and i still got the same message.

I remember we had this thread before, from chinese version. Can anyone link it, I couldn't find it, seems its lost during that forum cleanup. Also, can anyone find more info on chinese version.

What kind of bonuses we get, how does it work, etc..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

from DSOFAS 2nd post:

Here's the table.

TypeStat Change (Range)
Level 1 Retrofitting-5%-5%
Level 2 Retrofitting-5%-6%
Level 3 Retrofitting-5%-8%
Level 4 Retrofitting-5%-10%

You see it increases or decreases by some random percentage.

Example.

140 falch with base stats.
140 falch with 5% increased attack

You can see enhanced falch has more attack obviously.

Now the formula should go like this.

Forged attack increased = Base attack + (Base Attack * enhanced %)
Forged attack decreased = Base attack - (Base Attack * enhanced %)

When I was reforging my falch, It said on public chat, my attack was increased by 5%.
___________________________________________________________________________

So lets do it with actual numbers.
Forged attack increased = 700 + (700 * 0.05) = 700 + 35 = 735

So it got increased by 35 attack.

This is the maximum you can get with level 1 forging on weapon with 700 attack.
___________________________________________________________________________

Now obviously if a weapon had 1000 attack base, you would get different numbers.
Forged attack increased = 1000 + (1000 * 0.05) = 1000 + 50 = 1050

So it got increased by 50 attack.

This is the maximum you can get with level 1 forging on weapon with 1000 attack.
___________________________________________________________________________

Basically, it would be impossible to make a guide on this, cause you would have to wrote the max att, acc and HP of every single weapon in game, since it depends on base stats and every weapon has different base stats.

You must left click on weapon and drag it in that slot in top left corner.

If you have level 12 weapons, please try it and post list of materials for level 3 and 4 retrofitting.

i probly asked 100 people by now for information on this but my search turned up nothing so lets get a clear answer now.
i understand the consept but mainly theres nothing telling price thats what i dont understand what is the price for each level (white-purple).

i recommend if theres some1 with all the info together to make a guide on this topic for i bet some people gave up because its unkown cost.

At the NPC it will tell you the materials needed for lvl 1, 2, 3, 4.

No real reason for a guide on this, unless someone knows the max att, acc, HP and so on you can get from each lvl.

For the newer or returned players getting Dragon gear etc,  it would be useful to know how this works ..
Even though it seems this stuff is from or was supposed to have been in game pre - proffession ..its being used ..
Believe it or not for starter gear its useful ..I am using nooblets I had to make to learn new system ..Its much easier to use this crap to advance storyline ..
Then get superior gear to bad refine ..
Trouble is they give falch ..sword for RMO would be nice option numbnuts ..
