Hi,

Try running the game under DEBIAN - 6.0.3 (squeeze STABLE) with WINE (1.1.42~winehq1)
My video card is ATI RADEON HD3300 (driver fglrx,  AMD Catalyst™ 11.9 Proprietary Linux x86_64  ), xorg (1:7.5+8)
this is my xorg.conf :
Section "ServerLayout"
        Identifier     "aticonfig Layout"
        Screen      0  "aticonfig-Screen[0]-0" 0 0
EndSection

Section "Module"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "aticonfig-Monitor[0]-0"
        Option      "VendorName" "ATI Proprietary Driver"
        Option      "ModelName" "Generic Autodetecting Monitor"
        Option      "DPMS" "true"
EndSection

Section "Device"
        Identifier  "aticonfig-Device[0]-0"
        Driver      "fglrx"
        BusID       "PCI:1:5:0"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "aticonfig-Screen[0]-0"
        Device     "aticonfig-Device[0]-0"
        Monitor    "aticonfig-Monitor[0]-0"
        DefaultDepth     24
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport   0 0
                Depth     24
        EndSubSection
EndSection

I downloaded the game and install it easily.
I was able to log in and created a character, but when I click on "enter", the game break, makes no errors :(

Thanks for the reply.
But unfortunately both links are not helped me :(

In the second link  (http://forum.vc.igg.com/viewthread.php?tid=47310&highlight=Linux)
"ipitydafoo2" said : "Do NOT open Core.exe directly, or it will fail"

I run the game from /my directory/voyagecentury.exe , BUT when the game goes to load appears "core.exe" and breaks :(

Please, if someone has launched on Linux, let's write how.

Hello,

I do not have partition with NTFS (мy partitions are ext4), but I do not think this is a problem.
Update wine to 1.2.3 (last stable), but has no effect :(

might want to check computer specs...
because it crashes when loading... perhaps the sound card or graphics card is having problems.
the game hates integrated cards...
Also when the game plays  some people report high cpu usage... (windows task manager) so it could be a combo of items.

you can also look at the game error log...
problem is no one really knows what anything means... even live support...(I tried them on one of my errors and its been waaay more than the 3 days they promised...heh)
but you can see if audio or video files are not loading...

Program Files/Voyage Century Online/voyage/system.log

But that's all can offer... I don't know a thing about Linux/Unix/ Ubantu... I just like the penguin.
Tux rules!
