What is an Instance
An instance requires you to be in a team in order to enter. (Team is 2 - 5 members).
When you enter an instance you change scenes to a specific area where only you and your team mates have access to the monsters.
You can exit and re-enter a instance in progress as long as one member is inside the instance.
If members leave for more than 2? or 5? minutes the instance will be automatically reset.
If you lose your team you will automatically be thrown out of the instance, and the instance will be reset (if you remake the team).
What are the skill requirements to enter an instance
*** you can access most of this this information just by
1) clicking the "enter the instance" button/icon (Ctrl+a >interaction tab >click icon)
2) using the E-book in game: Ctrl+e > 4. Guide to expansion set > 7. new instance introduction > "instance name"

Malta Defense; 175 ship dodge, 160 cannon accuracy
Malta Defense Elite; 280 ship dodge, 250 cannon accuracy
2) You need passport from Municipal Minister to enter Mayan and Hurricane Island ELETE instances. And you can get a "order" from Municipal Minister that increases the number of times you can enter an instance. Unfortunately, you have to be a guild leader or vice leader who's guild owns a city... to buy those "orders" and passports.
3) Hurricane Island entry numbers were "reduced". (see discussion thread for details) You can still enter 8 times but now the count turns negative after the first 5.
Accepting the daily task
Instances are a great way to level your profession and get Rare Gold or Original Magnetic Ore (OMO). Both are needed for purchasing and upgrading profession jewelery and upgradig level 120 + Uniforms, hats, and weapons. It is recommended you do Instances almost every day.
To get the task/quest reward experience points and rare gold you need to accept the daily quest, then submit the task to the npc after the boss is killed.
You can only take a task every 24 hour period. The 24 hour period resets at 0000 hrs EST.
Talk to the npc outside the instance. Read through what he says and accept the task.
How do I enter an Instance?
First you must be in a team.
Then you talk to the NPC outside the instance and in some cases the first member to enter will need a map sold by the npc (equip in accessory slot on character).
All instance entrances are a white vortex looking thing except Malta and the English Channel (Malta is an anchor, English channel has 3 ships facing each other).

Teleporting to an Instance
There is a feature that allows you to teleport a team player to one of the instances. But it cost you in game coin and there is a level limitation as well as a limit of giving 1 teleport per 3 hour period per character from any given site.
The team member paying must go to the telport npc then choose his team members name from a list.
The accepting team member must be on the high seas and have no goods in his ship hold.
An invitation will be sent much like a trade invitation. Once the player accepts he will appear near the teleport npc.
Costs and Profession level to teleport another character:
Mallorca/Crete: 200.000 (Over level 100 no teleportation possible)
Mada/Bombay: 800.000 (teleporter and the player teleported need level 80-120)
Beijing: 1,000.000 (teleporter and the player teleported need level 80?-120)
Maya: 1,000.000 (teleporter and the player teleported need level 80?-120)
Hurricane Island: 1000.000 (dk the lvl requirement here)
There is also a cooling time, so you can teleport a team player only every 3 hours or beeing teleported every 3 hours too (maybe beeing teleported is only 1hour...) and you have to be at High-sea to be teleported:
And if you thinking of making trend runs, forget it, you cant be teleported with goods in ship.
