Barbarossa, Wynne, Caterina, Dampier, Rajah, Startebeker, Tew, Drake, Tan, Laces, Kidd, Teach, Shiro, Oji
These are the oldest in the game and have to be lured to spawn with trade goods onboard.

These Bosses are kill able by either sea battle and land battle.
However to get the best possible reward from them you MUST fight them on deck. That means either you must board them or allow them to board you. It is on deck when they die that they drop drawings and safes.

Each boss can drop drawings based on the level of the boss. So a lvl 6 boss will drop lvl 6 drawings (51 skill lvl). They can also drop safes ranging from copper to diamond. The safes can give many things including money or gems.

NOTE:
Bosses Currently only drop Ship gear drawings like figureheads and ship armor. They used to also drop uniform, hat and weapon drawings, however those were taken out with the addition of the professional equipment.

The Bosses
John Hawkins, Bartholomeus Roberts, Gotheborg Honorable Level Frigate, Glory Level Frigate, General Charly Will, General Cruz
Same as before, you want to board and kill these bosses on deck for the best reward.

Section Contents:
1. The Minimum requirements to kill them
2. The Boss Spawn timing system
3. Spawn Time Calculator
4. Individual Boss Spawn Locations and Fighting Strategies

1. Minimum Requirements

Old Gear
LVL 10 Battleship or Raider with UPGRADED FH and Secondary Steel Ram Proof Shield or better
Golden Dragon armor ( preferibly with some very good plus)
Golden Dragon Falchion ( preferibly with some plus)or better* You can kill all the bosses with Flame Falchion only Boss that is really needed to use Golden is General Charly Will.
Flame Dragon helm ( preferibly with some plus) preferibly better helm.
Full Empires ares / Hades set ( medal, badge , x2 rings ) MUST HAVE if you want to kill all the bosses
First Aids kits - NEVER go hunt without them -
Low Level Hp potions
Low Level Sp potions
Charm , I use a lot the Attack Charm, but Hp, accuracy, dodge is also very good.. all depends of your equipment needs.
Optional
Refined Charm I gotta say its really great item to have and its worth every IM point you might spend on it, even if you fail, its like an Extra Empire jewels.
Special Potions, specially the 1000 hp heal pot

Profession Gear Equivalent needed
Level 10 Battleship or Raider with at least Secondary Ram proof shield
Nice upgraded Figurehead (Plused Nav star would work)
lvl 73 superior jewelry or better
lvl 71 superior falchion or better - plused with bad refines
lvl 75 superior uniform and hat- plused with bad refines
Low lvl HP and SP potions
any other potions you would like to bring along, such as shortbread pots

Drops
Can not find a lost of drops
Cruz and Will drop black dragon drawings

2. Boss Spawn Timing System

First of all You need to know the Spawn system works:
-Every week after maintenance Boss times are reset.
-The first BOSS times is the key of all the other bosses times in the rest of the Week.*
YOU MUST KNOW THE TIME WHEN THE SERVER RETURNED ONLINE AFTER MAINTENANCE

Our Boss hunting Adventure begins after Maintenance

12 hours after the Maintenance You must be outside Stockholm waiting for Gotheborg Honorable Level Frigate this is the first boss that spawn after Maintenance and the key of everything. The spawning time of this boss is between 1 minute to 3 hours, is Random

After you get the Exact Time of the Gotheborg Honorable Level Frigate. The rest of bosses will have it FIRST spawn at this times:
- John Hawkins : 4 hours and 20 minutes (100% exact time)  AFTER the First Gotheburg Frigate time.
- Bartholomeus Roberts : 6 hours and 10 minutes (not 100% exact time) AFTER the First Gotheburg Frigate time.
- Gotheborg Honorable Level Frigate : 6 hours and 55 minutes
- Glory Level Frigate: Some say its 6 hours and 55 minutes but I believe its totally Random.
- General Charley Will : 13 hours and 50 minutes AFTER the First Gotheburg Frigate time.
- General Cruz : 25 hours ( some say its 25hours but its 24hours and 56 minutes) AFTER the First Gotheburg Frigate time.

Ok This is the first time of spawn of every Boss now
SECOND SPAWN OF EVERY BOSS WILL BE THE SAME THE REST OF THE WEEK.:
- John Hawkins : 9 hours and 04 minutes
- Bartholomeus Roberts : 10 hours and 04 minutes
- Gotheborg Honorable Level Frigate : 6 hours and 55 minutes
- Glory Level Frigate: Some say its 6 hours and 55 minutes but I beleive is totally Random.
- General Charly Will : 13 hours and 50 minutes
- General Cruz : 19hours and 20 minutes

OK this is all you need to know about the spawn times, if you still dont understand this i will put two examples:
John Hawkins
Maintenance ENDS -> 12 hours -> between 1 minute-3hours --> First Gotheburg spawn  --> 4 hours and 20 minutes --> First hawkins spawn --> 9 hours and 4 minutes --> Second hawkins spawn --> 9hours and 4 minutes --> Third Hawkins Spawn --- > Repeat all the week

General Cruz
Maintenance ENDS -> 12 hours -> between 1 minute-3hours --> First Gotheburg spawn  --> 24hours and 56 minutes --> First General Cruz Spawn --> 19 hours and 20 minutes --> Second General Cruz Spawn --> 19 hours and 20 minutes --> Third General Cruz Spawn ---> Repeat all the week

3. Boss Spawn Time Calculator
Calculator made by: Flauschus

This Excel File calculates all Boss Spawn Times from first Goteborg Spawn Time ongoing for the Rest of the Week. You only need to know when the Goteborg Ship spawned the first Time and the Boss Times will be calculated automatically!
If you missed the first Spawn and got no Idea when this Spawn was you can change to Tab2 of this Excel File and calculate all Pirate Boss Times other ways. You need to know only one Spawn time of that Boss and the Calculation begins.
Also Included is Information of the new HS Bosses and a Map with all Spawn Places!

You need:
- Microsoft Excel 2003 or Software working with *.xls Files (or higher)
- Best view with 1280x1024 px (or higher)
- The Spawn Time of any Boss or better the first Spawn Time of Gotheborg Frigate

Original Calculator Thread Link

Calculator Zip File Contains Excel .xls file

4. Individual Boss Strategies

John Hawkins
This Boss is Hard and you must not make any mistakes while figthing or you might have serious trouble, I recommend you try this Boss before trying Charly Will. Once you Board this boss, you must run and attack him, while fighting he will start spawning sharpooters on you, you must always attack hawkins and not attack any sharpooters.. You must be drinking low level pots all the time during the fight, also you must save the armor, helm and falchion skills to the last part of the fight or when you start losing much HP (50%), I would day when he hits like 30%-40% of his HP. I suggest you be all the fight spamming hp pots, and IM heals if needed. I suggest you Equip charm before boarding him

Spawn Location:
Really hard to know the Location and the direction he sails, John Hawkins can Spawn in Luanda and in the highsea in this locations ( the ones i know) : 577 156 near dakar, 660 -74 near Madeira, -100 998(988 sorry forgot) near cape town, I have seen John hawkins in Cape Town, also people said he sails to Accra too

Bartholomeus Roberts
This is when bosses start getting a little harder, but with the "must have" equipment you must not have any problem at all,Black Bart have a Pet, which I suggest kill first before attacking black bart since this dog kills fast your sailors, then go attack Black Bart. I suggest you use Armor and Weapon skills before you board him, this way your sailors are stronger and you lose less sailors.

Spawn Location:
He can Spawn in London - Lisbon - Madeira - Cape Town also this mysterious boss sometimes spawn outside London and sail to it then return, and sometimes spawn outside london and magically teleport to cape town , Also he spawn in a place between Lisbon and London in the High Seas ( I beleive)

Goteborg Honorable Level Frigate
This Boss is also a "piece of cake" but is a bit annoying he uses Guns and runs a lot, you must no have any problem at all , I suggest you use Armor and Weapon skills before you board him, this way your sailors are stronger and you lose less sailors.

Spawn Location:
Always Spawn in Stockholm  then sails Oslo-London-Lisbon and Return
Some People says this Frigate also Sails to Reikjavik , I honestly never seen it myself.

Glory Level Frigate
This is the easiest boss of all , which the "must have stuff" you must not have any problem at all, I suggest you use Armor and Weapon skills before you board him, this way your sailors are stronger and you lose less sailors. Always Attack directly the Boss, dont lose time with the sailors

Spawn Location:
Location Spawn is Random and it can be in Suez, Aden , Bombay and I believe Muscat too

General Charley Will
This is the Hardest Boss, ATLEAST you "must have" ALL the recommended equipment or BETTER to kill him, any mistake while fighting him can result in a very Quick Death . Before Boarding him, you must Equip an IM charm. Since the Begining of the Fight you must SPAM the hp pots and IM heal ( First aid kit) like Crazy, You also have to Check the Normal chat once you see a red message saying " He goes in Rage" You must use your armor ( always use it first), helm and falchion skills and continue healing till the End of the fight. This boss is hard to kill at the first times, you need some good stats, so if you die, just try harder.. his drops are worth the try ... If you see all yours sailors are killed better to open the dropped safes and magic boxes quickly, because you might die once you are back in the sea.

Spawn Location:
He spawns on the line of London to Cuba

General Cruz
This Boss Might look much easier than John Hawkins but he is very Dangerous, sometimes he can do consecutives critical hits of 1.5k hp - 3.5k hp but its Rare. You must use your Armor, helm and falchion skill in the last part of the fight or when you start losing too much HP ´(50% hp) I suggest you be all the fight spamming hp pots, and IM heals if needed. I suggest you Equip Charm before Boarding him.

Spawn Location:
He Spawns and sails in the Line of Seville-Tortuga ( the city near tortuga where merchants sail), sometimes he doesnt return to Seville City, he stops in the High sea near seville city and returns to Tortuga.

The Bosses
All of these sea bosses can only be attacked if your current sea battle level meets their requirements.
Sea Battle Level
Easiest Group
Less then lvl 80 SB
Mid-Level Group
Less than 105 SB
Hardest Group
No SB Requirement
Spawn Time

George Ansheens Urniknio Ship Savage Henry. Morgans Flagship Laboos Eagle Ship

A Few things to know:
1: the new bosses can NOT be grappled.
2: for easy and mid lvl your sea battle lvl decides if you can attack the ships or not.
3: a server bulletin will come when a boss spawns. it will include coordinates for the boss, and what lvl it is.
4: every boss has spawn times settled but different spawn places.
6: server message will come when a boss dies, example:
PlayerName killed Wansaofens Cracking Lighter Aboard Ship

very rare (Freezing Loricae Plans Freezing/ Helmet Plans)
Mid-level:

Also all bosses can drop Weapon Change Charms

NOTE:
Freezing Loricae Plans, Freezing Helmet Plans are NOTRADEABLE, and cant be dropped. so whoever needs the drawing needs to loot it from the wreckage.

Strategy
Old Recommendations
recommendation is to have more than 330 cannons(except for Low-level boss). to fight those bosses use ram and/or cannon shields, use sea suits with sailor damage reduction or a set of white dragon armor. You will need about 80 ship dodge total, sea jewelry will help increase the ship dodge and add more sailor protection. A sea charm is good if you have one, might also want to take along a guardian scroll incase someone comes in and tires to steal your kill. You are gonna also need repair and sailor healing kits, depending on how much dodge and sailor DR you have, you might also need to use sailor summoning flags to replace dead sailors.

Suggested Gear:
Sea uniform like noble uniform or white dragon armor
Sea charm if you have one
Sea Jewelry: Neptune Badges and Necklace and at least lvl 73 prof rings
Stuff to remove buffs, either emergency solution or holy medicine
Repairs kits and sailor healing kits
Depending on how hard they hit you, might need sailor summoning flags from ingame item mall for 500k coins.

Ram proof and the Easiest boss:
You just need 1 or 2 ram proof shields these bosses don't have a weak hitting side. the problem with these bosses are the aplusive ships that suicide ram you. you also take cannon fire from the boss like normal. i have heard some ppl use cannon armors when being fired on by cannons and then switch to ram armor when the aplusive ships are close. The aplusive ships are easy and can be killed in one shot.

Cannon Fight, escape ship when die:
the cannon fire of these bosses are weaker on the right side than the left.  you have to fight him on that side for one or 2 min
my personal boss kill system: i place 1 alt inside of BF, when my skill runs out i get out of bf, wait for the skill to cool, and finish repairing and healing then go back into the BF. Some people use raiders to run away from the bosses and fire at him with long range cannons, its a slower method but it does work.

the last part of this boss is the Hardest cause when he dies 4 escape ships spawn.
Make sure to kill all 4 ships cause one is carrying the treasure chest and if you dont get it then the whole thing was a waste of time.
watch out when the boss is almost dead, when almost dead move closer into the boss so when he dies you will have the ability to fire at the escape ships right away. Using HE ammo you should kill each ship in one shot.

Cannon Figth and the Hardest Hitting:
these ships have a weaker right side, you should fight them from that side to take less damage. Strategy is pretty much the same as above, fire away and sink it. You can also use the alt method to keep the battlefield open so you can leave to repair and wait for skill cooldown. Raider method also works again, you just have to make sure to kill him before he gets you.
