at first I thought parry maybe some technique ... then realized so much better without .... completed 69 with superior refined 155 hitter set just precious stonesf59
If your a non sword user get yourself a sword and lvl 12 stab and start every time with a stab before switching back to main weapon. You can dodge a lot of attacks. Im a 155 player myself and sword user. I do less damage then my guildies with flach, but i only die because i run out of time. The stabbing helps me to go faster without a lot of healing.
It's better to not use fury slash and rush since it decreases the deffense and causes you die quicker.
Or till the freezing armor's skill finishes, use fury slash and rush for once then never use it again.
I couldnt pass 30th floor till i stopped using those skills.
def is more usefull than dr in GT.. cuz mobs there have high att and low db...........
anyway GT is useless for beginner. ord/sup ref are cheap enough today...better do HI and EC for money.f49
Always play the puzzle, it can give you vouchers from higher levels f26 (and it's a break from the repetetiveness of the tower)
It's best to have some spare items where possible, find where your weakness is in tower and swap these items out to balance your stats from your normal build. You may have specialised for other tasks in the game, but tower requires an all round character.
Spare charms, apparatus, even a temporary belief can do the job. (Apache's tears for DR, zilant totem for DB, then drill these with basic stones and ordinary stones from the early levels, it'll last you a month.)
If you struggle to kill fast enough but can take the damage easily, swap something with defensive drills for offensive. (Attack or crit).
If you can kill easily but die too fast, swap something with offensive drills for defensive drills. (Parry is particularly good for these 1 on 1 fights).
As for profession, bad luck ABs, you needed some other skills.
Even though we have no more Karma , it is still a useful and welcome thread and will help all players do better . So please post if you feel you have something new to add.
TY very much for a great job .
