This issue appeared somewhere around the last update when they removed fleets. There are two issues. First of all they basically made those check boxes unclickable for some odd reason. Secondly, the text "Guild" and "Professions and Ranks" draws over those checkboxes. So when you're trying to click on the boxes, you are actually clicking on the texts.

Luckily it can be permanently fixed by editing a certain .xml file.
The file is located at: X:\Voyage Century Online\voyage\resource\UI\main\dlg\DlgSystem.xml
It can be opened with notepad.

First to make those boxes clickable again. This can be done by changing lines 215 and 217.
Line 215 old:

Line 215 new:

Line 217 old:

Line 217 new:

Notice that we removed the enable="false" mousefocus="false" piece od the code that blocked us from marking the boxes.

Now when we're done with that, its time to fix the second issue. Overlapping texts. Its fixed in the same file again.

Line 253 old:

Line 253 new:

Line 254 old:

Line 254 new:

Notice that we changed the left="117" piece of the code. We reduced it by 100. We moved the text 100 pixels on the left side so it no longer interferes with our checkboxes.

This is a permanent fix. It doesn't need be performed over and over again, unless in case of a game reinstall.

why cant we get them to make these simple changes to the client? ugh
we have an update coming here before long (Soon)
maybe we can get funofking to add these little fixes to pesky things that irk us into the main client

Most of the interface/text bugs require a little change in certain files. It can all be done in one morning. I don't understand why is it so hard for them to fix them.
