I have have a lot of problems with the installers in the past.

one day they don't work... the next they are fine. Or in some cases a 2 or 3 day wait then they are fine...

it looks like we are now on version .110  which BTW  should be written as 1.10  (as we have already been  through .01-.99 and any 3rd grader can tell you that .110 is less than .99)...
but IGG obviously hasn't been to grade school yet.

That being said  if you look at the main down load page (there are  few different pages)
http://vc.igg.com/download/client.php

you will see there are a few different options
try them...
and may the force be with you...   ?m020

just a heads up for anyone with windows 8 that is thinking about trying the 8.1 preview don't do it for a while. There is a known problem with mouse input errors and it causes VC to lag every time the mouse is moving. I can run from one point to another moving the mouse in circles and when I stop the mouse I skip from point A to point B... if I do the same thing and the mouse is sitting still it doesn't lag at all.

I had the same problem once on windows 7. I had to mess with settings in catalyst control center and somehow I managed to get it working.
